What are the Hopcharge Charging Costs
Hopcharge offers various subscription plans under two main categories: Standard and Lite. The exact cost depends on the chosen plan and the amount of energy used per session.
Hopcharge Minimum Cost
The minimum cost per kWh of charging with Hopcharge is Rs 15-20. Based on their calculations, this translates to approximately Rs 3-4 per kilometer driven.
Hopcharge Plans
Hopcharge provides two plan categories: Standard and Lite. Both offer unlimited rescheduling and cancellation up to 2 hours before your scheduled session.
Hopcharge Standard Plan Details
Hopcharge in Standard Plan offers eight different yearly subscription plans to fit your electric vehicle (EV) charging needs. These plans offer a recharge rate of up to 20 kWh per session, with most plans starting at 80% State of Charge (SOC). Additionally, you get one free 100% charger session per month. Standard plans also come with a low annual fee.
Here’s a breakdown of each plan to help you choose the best one for you:
XCharger ONE Standard Plan: This is the most basic plan, costing only INR 399.15 per year. You can charge your EV anytime, and they’ll bring the charger right to your doorstep for your convenience.
FLEX Standard Plan: This plan gives you more charging sessions for a yearly fee of INR 2,998.31. You’ll pay a flat rate of INR 399 (plus taxes) for each charging session. Plus, you get 4 RescueCharges (extra charging service) if needed, at INR 5 per kWh within their service area. You can also pick a preferred location in their service area where you’d like them to charge your EV most often.
FLEX-8 Standard Plan: Similar to the FLEX plan, this option costs INR 3,192.37 per year. Here, you prepay for 8 charging sessions at a discounted rate of INR 399 each (plus taxes). You also get the same benefits as the FLEX plan, with 4 RescueCharges and a preferred charging location.
Hopcharge-Y Standard Plan: This plan is a good choice for those who need a moderate amount of charging. It costs INR 8,996.61 per year and offers 18 charging sessions at your doorstep. They’ll also provide 2 RescueCharges (up to 5 kWh each) if needed within their service area. You get one free full charge (100% State of Charge or SoC) every month, but your battery will typically start at 75% SoC. To avoid the 75% starting charge, you just need to book two sessions that month. You can also choose a preferred charging location for your convenience. This plan lets you pay in monthly installments (EMI) with no interest on select credit cards.
Hopcharge-X Standard Plan: This plan is ideal for frequent drivers, costing INR 24,900 per year. It provides 48 charging sessions at your doorstep, along with 12 RescueCharges (up to 5 kWh each) within their service area. Just like the Y plan, you get one free full charge (100% SoC) monthly, but typically starting at 75% SoC. Book two sessions in a month to avoid the 75% starting charge. You can pick a preferred charging location and pay in monthly installments with no interest on select credit cards.
Hopcharge-100 Standard Plan: This plan is best for those who drive a lot, priced at INR 32,900 per year. You’ll get 100 charging sessions at your doorstep, with 12 RescueCharges (up to 5 kWh each) included within their service area. It works similarly to the previous plans, offering one free full charge (100% SoC) monthly, but usually starting at 75% SoC. You can avoid the 75% starting charge by booking two sessions in that month. The plan also allows you to choose a preferred charging location and pay in monthly installments with no interest on select credit cards.
Hopcharge-V Standard Plan & Hopcharge-Z Standard Plan: These are the most expensive plans, costing INR 37,500 and INR 49,900 per year respectively. They offer a significant number of charging sessions (156 and 365 respectively) at your doorstep, along with 12 RescueCharges (up to 5 kWh each) within their service area. The benefits for free full charges (100% SoC) and preferred charging location are similar to the other Standard Plans. You can also pay for these plans in monthly installments with no interest on select credit cards.
Hopcharge Lite Plan Details
Lite Plan provides nine subscription plans (one more than standard). These plans offer a recharge rate of up to 15 kWh per session, similar to the standard plan with an 80% SOC starting point and one free 100% charger session per month. Lite plans also come with a low annual fee.

- FLEX(L)-8 : (INR 2,392.37) – Prepaid plan for 8 sessions (discounted INR 299 each) with same benefits as FLEX(L).
- Hopcharge-Y(L) : (INR 6,800) – 18 sessions, 2 RescueCharges, free monthly 100% charge (avoid 75% start with 2 bookings).

EMI stands for Equated Monthly Installment, which allows you to spread out the plan cost over several months with no interest charges on specific credit cards.
